Has anyone ever tried any of the supposed cures for baldness? Has anything worked?

Hair loss is genetic and due to dying hair follicles. Propecia can help some regrowth on the crown – but not in the front. Also, you would need a Rx for it; and there are some possibility of side effects (decrease in libido). Rogaine can help with some regrowth, but must be used daily. Once you stop – you will lose the hair you regrew. There is no "cure". You could go to a surgical facility and see whether or not you are a good candidate (plentiful donor area, etc). Good Luck!

I have one spot the size of a quarter and it is very embarrassing cause im 14 and already have a bald spot. What is one way to make hair grow there again really fast?

Time is your best cure honey. I have had that 3 times in my life. You can go to a dermatologist and get a shot that will make your hair grow back faster.. However the doctor will tell you that it doesn’t work that much faster. (I’ve done it and that’s what he said to me.) I know it’s mortifying when you wake up one morning and realize u r missing hair, but your hair will start growing it back within weeks. In a few months your hair will be long enough that no one will notice, except you. Stay strong.. get some awesome hats.. hopefully it’s not a bad spot where it can’t be hidden.. Good luck honey.

I had a thought one day……How come you never see a bald Native American Indian..?. I met an old Native American fella long ago and he told the age old secret.

I have tried to explain to a few people, but everybody laughs and is cynical and keeps saying "There is no cure for baldness, blah, blah.

I could make a fortune from this and be rich beyond my wildest dreams. If only people were less cynical. I am not a businessman type person.

Ive had the remedy for years. I’ve tried secretly on family and and it works. The old Native American guy said i shouldn’t really tell everybody except Yahoo answers.

sounds like either you got taken or you are trying to pull a fast one on people. no different than those who make stuff up and then sell it as authentic native american things. fakes are a dime a dozen.

I’m looking for anything that will make my hair grow, vitamins, shampoo, etc. please don’t tell me anything about going on a diet. I just need to know of a supplement or something i can put in my hair. I have been on Biotin for a while now, it is slowly working. my hair is 4 inches past my shoulder, if you could also tell me how long it would take for me to grow it all the way down to my belly button, that would be great to.

At the same time I feel this is a dark and mean thought and I am not a mean person. I am curious if any other guys have had the same thought. Also, I am thrilled to see men who are cue ball balled for the same reason as above. Sometimes I hope that there were will be no cure for baldness so that these men will stay bald. Again, I feel really guilty for having these thoughts but I am wondering if I am the only one.

It’s probably a throwback to survival of the fittest. Your guilt is social mores creeping in. But I have bad news for you, bud. Cold hard cash is the biggest factor when it comes to bedding a woman.
